The spacious design, natural light, and circular walkway were key factors in the municipality's decision to choose .tmp architects' proposal.

The exposure of structural elements was a highlight during planning and implementation from 2019. The building process revealed exceptional craftsmanship and the ability to construct in sections while maintaining the overall 90 x 60-meter scale. .tmp was able to enhance the structure’s clarity while preserving unique asymmetries.

Transforming the building into a fully functional ice arena and multi-purpose event space will create a true town hall for Kapfenberg, uniting sports and community life while showcasing the potential of municipal facilities.
