Children Art Laboratory | Pichler Traupmann Architekten

Architects

Pichler Traupmann Architekten

Location

St. Pölten, Austria

The Children Art Laboratory (KiKuLa) by Pichler Traupmann Architekten is a floating, transparent structure that seamlessly integrates with its urban and natural surroundings. Designed as a link between city, park, and creative space, it forms a dynamic, interactive environment where art, play, and experimentation merge. The building’s open ground floor enhances connectivity, making it a key urban hub, while its terraces, climbing areas, and outdoor labs extend the creative experience into the landscape. The design preserves existing trees and blends architecture with nature, creating an immersive, evolving space that fosters exploration, creativity, and new perspectives for children.
