"Ötzi Peak 3251m," designed by NOA Architecture and Interior Design Studio, is an observation deck located at the summit of the Schnals Valley Glacier, offering sweeping views of the surrounding alpine landscape. The platform, constructed from Corten steel, gracefully blends with the natural environment, creating a light, almost floating structure. Its unique design incorporates the existing summit cross and allows visitors to experience an immersive connection with the mountains. The dynamic form of the platform shifts, offering new perspectives as viewers move through it, guiding their attention to both the surrounding peaks and the historical site where Ötzi, the Iceman, was discovered. This design offers a peaceful, contemplative experience, enhancing the visitor’s connection to nature and history at one of Europe’s highest points.
